Towing in Malaga: what we’re usually called out for
Malaga is one of the largest industrial and commercial precincts in Perth’s north, with more than two thousand businesses and very few residents. That makes it a different kind of suburb for us. Our most common jobs are work vehicles that won’t start at the start of a shift, vans that break down mid-delivery, and shipping container transport between yards, building sites and storage.
We also tow plenty of private cars into Malaga, because it’s full of mechanics, auto electricians, panel beaters and tyre shops. If your car has broken down elsewhere in the northern suburbs, there’s a good chance it’s coming here to be fixed. And on weekends, Malaga Markets brings in shoppers whose cars sometimes give up in the car park.
Roads and places we cover around Malaga
Reid Highway runs across Malaga, linking it west to Mirrabooka and the Mitchell Freeway and east towards the Swan Valley. Tonkin Highway runs along the eastern side, giving fast access north to the NorthLink route and south to the airport. Alexander Drive is the main road on the western side, and Beach Road becomes Marshall Road as it reaches the industrial area.
Nearby we cover Ballajura to the north, Mirrabooka to the west, and Beechboro to the east, plus Dianella and Morley a little further south.
If you’re stuck in Malaga right now
- At a business, give us the name, street number and which gate trucks should use.
- On Reid or Tonkin Highway, stay behind the barrier and well away from heavy vehicles.
- For containers, have the size and any booking or release number ready.
- If a vehicle is loaded or unusually heavy, tell us before we send a truck.
