When Mirrabooka needs a tow
Mirrabooka Square is one of the main shopping centres in Perth’s inner north, and it’s a reliable source of car park callouts. Dead batteries, cars that won’t come out of park and flat tyres on the way out of the centre are typical. Some shoppers also find a dent and a missing tail light when they come back to the car, which can mean an accident tow to a panel shop.
The roads around the suburb bring the more serious jobs. Reid Highway runs through Mirrabooka with fast traffic and heavy freight heading for Malaga and the Mitchell Freeway. Mirrabooka Avenue and Alexander Drive carry plenty of traffic north to the newer suburbs, and their big intersections with Reid Highway see a lot of crashes.
Roads and places we cover around Mirrabooka
Reid Highway cuts through the suburb, with older streets around Yirrigan Drive to the south and newer housing to the north towards Beach Road. Mirrabooka Avenue runs north-south on the western side, close to Balga. Alexander Drive forms the eastern side, with Malaga and its industrial area beyond. To the south you’ll find Nollamara and Dianella, and Girrawheen and Koondoola lie to the north.
We regularly drop cars from Mirrabooka at workshops in nearby Malaga and Balcatta, or anywhere else you choose.
