What gets us called out in Rockingham
As the main centre for the whole City of Rockingham, this suburb produces a steady mix of jobs. The Rockingham Centre and the surrounding shopping precinct are big ones. Batteries go flat while people shop, starter motors give up, and the odd car gets clipped reversing out of a bay. We collect from the open-air car parks and service lanes there most days of the week.
Ennis Avenue and Patterson Road carry National Highway 1 through the area, linking Rockingham to Kwinana, Fremantle and Mandurah. Traffic lights, heavy vehicles heading to the industrial strip and peak-hour queues all add up to rear-end crashes, which we handle as accident towing with direct insurer billing.
Down at the waterfront, summer weekends bring their own problems. Cars left with the doors open at Rockingham Beach or Palm Beach, overheating in the queue along the foreshore, or a car that dies with the boat trailer still hitched.
Roads and places we cover around Rockingham
Patterson Road and Ennis Avenue form the backbone. Dixon Road runs past the Murdoch University campus and the light industrial estates, then continues east as Kulija Road to reach the Kwinana Freeway, which makes Kulija Road the usual route when we bring a car up from the freeway. Council Avenue and Read Street connect the city centre with the train station and the suburbs to the south.
Safety Bay Road heads from the Rockingham beachfront down towards Safety Bay and then east to the freeway at Baldivis. Further along the coast, Read Street becomes Warnbro Sound Avenue and runs on to Warnbro.
Stuck in Rockingham? Do this first
- On Ennis Avenue, pull onto the left shoulder, switch the hazards on and stay well away from the traffic lanes.
- At the shopping centre, tell us the nearest entrance or major store so the driver goes to the right car park.
- On the foreshore, give us the car park name or the closest cafe or jetty.
- Check whether you need the car taken to a workshop on Dixon Road or further afield.
Then ring 0419 857 070 and we’ll organise the truck.
