Towing in Girrawheen: what we’re called out for
Girrawheen dates back to the early 1970s, and most of it is family housing with parks scattered through the streets. A large share of our work here is everyday breakdown towing: cars with failed starters, overheating engines in summer and batteries that give out on a cold morning. We also move a lot of cars that have been parked on driveways for months and need to go to a buyer or a wrecker.
The boundary roads bring the rest. Wanneroo Road on the west and Mirrabooka Avenue on the east carry heavy commuter and trade traffic, and crashes at their junctions with Beach Road and Marangaroo Drive lead to accident towing jobs. In most cases we can deal with your insurer directly so you’re not left out of pocket.

Marangaroo Drive runs along the north, with Newpark Shopping Centre on it and Marangaroo on the far side. Beach Road forms the southern edge and separates Girrawheen from Balga. Over Wanneroo Road to the west is Warwick, and Mirrabooka Avenue on the east leads south towards the Mirrabooka shopping area. Girrawheen Avenue runs through the middle of the suburb.
If your car has stopped in Girrawheen
- Use one of the four boundary roads as your reference point. It’s the fastest way for us to narrow down where you are.
- At Newpark or Summerfield, tell us the nearest shop or the library.
- If the car is on a verge or footpath, make sure it’s not blocking a pram ramp or bus stop.
- Have the address ready for where the car should be dropped.
