What we tow in Eglinton
Eglinton was mostly banksia scrub and bushland until housing estates started going in along Marmion Avenue. That makes it a classic growth-corridor suburb for us. New homeowners moving in need cars and trailers transported, builders’ utes break down on site, and sharp debris on unfinished roads causes flat tyres that leave people stuck. Our vehicle transport service is often the easiest way to get a second car up from an older suburb.
Since Eglinton station opened off Pipidinny Road, the station car park has become another source of jobs, mostly cars that won’t start after a day parked in the sun. Out on Marmion Avenue, traffic heading to and from Yanchep moves quickly between roundabouts, and we handle the crashes that follow with insurer billing where we can.
Roads and nearby suburbs
Marmion Avenue is the main road through Eglinton, linking it south to Alkimos and north to Yanchep. Pipidinny Road runs east from the big roundabout on Marmion Avenue towards Pipidinny Swamp and the semi-rural country further inland, with Beonaddy Road branching off it. Eglinton Boulevard is one of the main estate roads off Marmion Avenue. For the freeway, most drivers head south to Romeo Road in Alkimos, where the Mitchell Freeway currently ends.
Stranded in Eglinton? Here’s what helps
- Send a location pin if you’re in a new estate, as some street names may not be on every map.
- Watch for construction vehicles and stay well off the road while you wait.
- On Pipidinny Road, park clear of bends so passing drivers can see the car.
- For a sand bog, tell us the track or access point and how deep the wheels are buried.
