What we’re usually called out for in Jane Brook
Jane Brook has two personalities. Most residents live in family estates built over the last few decades, and that brings the usual home callouts: flat batteries on school mornings, cars that won’t start after a holiday, and second cars that need vehicle transport to a mechanic or a new owner. Curving streets and cul-de-sacs mean we often plan the approach before the truck turns in.
Further east, towards the scarp and the creek valley, the blocks get bigger and more rural. Here we see utes and 4WDs that have bogged on soft ground after rain, cars stuck at the bottom of long gravel drives, and the odd trailer that has slipped off a track. Toodyay Road along the northern edge is the busiest road in the area, and crashes on it are handled as accident towing with direct insurer billing where we can.
Roads and places we cover around Jane Brook
Toodyay Road is the main road on the northern side, heading out towards Gidgegannup and the hills. Talbot Road and Farrall Road link the estates to the surrounding suburbs, and White Gum Drive and Waterlily Drive carry most of the local traffic inside the residential area.
To the south-west is Stratton, and to the south is Swan View. Herne Hill and its vineyards lie to the north, and Midland’s shops and workshops are a short drive west.
If you’re stuck in Jane Brook right now
- On Toodyay Road, use the widest part of the shoulder and keep everyone off the road side.
- In the estates, give us the street and the nearest cross street, as some names repeat in nearby suburbs.
- On a rural lot, tell us if the ground is wet and how far the vehicle is from the driveway.
- If you’re near the creek after heavy rain, don’t drive through running water to get out.
Give us a call on 0419 857 070 and we’ll get moving.
