What brings us to Ridgewood
Ridgewood is a small, mostly residential suburb with almost no shops of its own, so the jobs here split between driveways and the freeway. The Mitchell Freeway runs along its eastern edge with interchanges at Hester Avenue and Lukin Drive, and commuters joining or leaving at either ramp are the ones most likely to need an urgent tow. Merging crashes, flat tyres and cars that lose power on the on-ramp all show up in our callout log.
At home, it’s typical young-family-suburb trouble. Second cars that don’t get driven much develop flat batteries. Older commuter cars give out after years of freeway kilometres. In the newer northern section, sold as part of the Brighton estate, we also deliver cars to new houses and occasionally tow vehicles that have been parked beside a building site too long.
The roads around Ridgewood
Hester Avenue forms the southern boundary, with Clarkson on the other side, and it links west to Marmion Avenue and east over the freeway towards Wanneroo Road. Lukin Drive runs along the north next to Butler. Connolly Drive is the western edge, separating Ridgewood from Merriwa, and continues south through Clarkson to Joondalup. Ridgewood Boulevard and Hinchinbrook Avenue carry most of the local traffic.
Quinns Rocks and the beach are only a few minutes west, and Clarkson station and Ocean Keys are just south.
