Towing in Clarkson: our usual jobs
Clarkson works as a town centre for the suburbs north of Joondalup. Ocean Keys Shopping Centre, the Bunnings, the car yards and the strip of restaurants all draw traffic from Butler to Mindarie, which makes car parks our number one source of callouts here. Flat batteries, failed starter motors and cars that simply won’t go into gear are everyday jobs, and we often take them to a workshop of the owner’s choosing.
Clarkson station is the other busy spot. Commuters park all day, and some come back to a car that won’t start. On the Mitchell Freeway next to the suburb, peak hour crashes and breakdowns between Neerabup Road and Hester Avenue are a regular part of our accident towing work, with insurer billing where it applies.
Roads and neighbours around Clarkson
Marmion Avenue runs along the western edge, separating Clarkson from Mindarie and the coast. Connolly Drive runs through the middle of the suburb, north towards Butler and south through Tamala Park to Kinross. Hester Avenue marks the northern boundary with Merriwa and Ridgewood, and Neerabup Road crosses the south-east. Ocean Keys Boulevard links the shopping centre to the station and carries most of the town centre traffic.
