Common tow jobs in Mindarie
The marina is the heart of Mindarie, and a lot of our callouts start there. Tow vehicles struggle on the ramp, clutches burn out while hauling a heavy boat up the slope, and cars parked at the marina all day come back with a flat battery. We also get calls from people who’ve enjoyed the restaurants a bit too much and want the car taken home.
Away from the water, Mindarie is a residential suburb with plenty of families. Everyday breakdowns, like failed alternators, overheating or tyres that need more than a spare, are common. Marmion Avenue on the eastern edge carries heavy traffic between Joondalup and the northern coastal suburbs, so breakdowns and crashes along it are a regular part of our work.
Roads and places we cover around Mindarie
Marmion Avenue forms the eastern boundary, with Clarkson on the far side. Quinns Road runs along the north, separating Mindarie from Quinns Rocks. To the south is Tamala Park, which is mostly bushland and the regional landfill site, with very few homes.
Anchorage Drive leads down to the Mindarie Keys area and the marina, and Ocean Falls Boulevard takes you to the hotel. The North and South Mindarie Foreshores and Claytons Beach are protected dune areas with car parks we can reach easily.
If you’re stuck in Mindarie right now
- At the marina ramp, keep your hazards on and let other boaties know you’re waiting for a tow.
- Tell us whether the trailer is hitched and the boat loaded, since it changes the truck we send.
- On Marmion Avenue, pull onto the verge or into a side street, well clear of traffic.
- If you’re at a foreshore car park, name the beach or reserve you’re beside.
Phone 0419 857 070 and we’ll get moving.
