Towing in Scarborough: what we’re usually called out for
Scarborough is one of Perth’s busiest beach suburbs, and most of our jobs here are a mix of beach car parks and nightlife. A day at the beach with the stereo on or the doors open often ends with a flat battery. Sand in the brakes, overheating in summer traffic and the odd key locked in the boot after a swim all keep us busy along the foreshore.
At night, the bars and restaurants along the Esplanade and Scarborough Beach Road bring a different kind of call. Often it’s someone who has decided not to drive and wants their car taken home, or a car that won’t start after a late finish. Weekend traffic on West Coast Highway also leads to the occasional rear-end crash, which we handle as accident towing with insurer billing.
Roads and places we cover around Scarborough
West Coast Highway runs along the coast, linking Scarborough south to City Beach and north to Trigg. Scarborough Beach Road carries traffic inland to Doubleview, Innaloo and Osborne Park, while Brighton Road and Karrinyup Road connect north towards Karrinyup. We know the foreshore one-way loops and the tight residential streets behind the beach, where parking is limited and access needs some planning.
We also cover the quieter streets east of the beach, where most of our callouts are ordinary breakdowns and cars that need to go to a workshop.
If you’re stuck in Scarborough right now
- In a beach car park, note the car park name or the closest beach access path.
- If the car is in a tight spot or an underground car park, let us know so we bring the right truck.
- If you’ve been drinking, don’t move the car. We can tow it home for you.
- Tell us where the car needs to go, and if you need it delivered after hours, we can arrange that too.
