Cheap should still mean done properly
Most people searching for cheap towing in Perth do not want the lowest number on a screen. They want a fair price, a truck that turns up, and no surprises when the job is finished. That is what we focus on.
Every quote is given upfront, before the truck is dispatched. There are no hidden fees, no “extras” added at the drop off, and our best rates guarantee sits behind the price. If something about the job would change the cost, we tell you before we start, not after.
All of our work is done on tilt tray trucks. Your car sits fully on the tray, so there is no wear on the tyres, gearbox or driveline and no kilometres added. That matters for automatics, AWD vehicles and EVs, where towing on the wheels can cause expensive damage.
Ways to keep your towing cost down
You have more control over the price than you might think. These simple steps can make a real difference.
Book ahead for non-urgent jobs. Moving a non-running project car, taking a car to a mechanic, or collecting a private sale vehicle rarely needs a truck straight away. Give us a window and we can fit it in efficiently.
Make the car easy to reach. Move other cars out of the driveway, open gates, and clear the area around the vehicle. If it is in a shopping centre car park like Westfield Carousel or Karrinyup, note the level and bay number. Less time spent getting to the car means a simpler job.
Have the keys ready. A car with keys can usually be put in neutral and steered. Without keys, the steering may lock and the job gets harder.
Check if it rolls. Tell us if the handbrake releases and the wheels turn. Seized brakes or flat tyres change how we load.
Check your cover. Look at your roadside assistance membership and your car insurance before you book. Many policies include towing. For accident claims see our insurance towing page.
Be specific when you call. The clearer the details, the more accurate the quote, and the less chance of the job running over.
What we need to quote you
Text or call 0419 857 070 with the pickup suburb and street, the drop off address, the make and model, whether it runs, and any access issues. A photo of the car and where it is parked helps too. We will reply with a fixed price and a realistic ETA from the nearest of our 10+ trucks.
Pricing
Our price is set by distance, the type of vehicle, whether it runs, access at both ends, and how urgently you need it. Booking ahead, having the car accessible and the keys ready all help keep it down. For a full breakdown of what affects the cost, read how much a tow truck costs in Perth. Then call or text for your upfront quote.
Where we work
We cover every suburb in Perth, from Two Rocks to Secret Harbour and Cottesloe to Mundaring. That includes the northern suburbs, southern suburbs, eastern suburbs, western suburbs and south-eastern suburbs. Breakdowns go to our breakdown towing team, and planned moves go through vehicle transport.

WA authorised crash towing business #810
Accident tow costs are regulated by law
Since the Towing Services Act 2024, only businesses authorised by the WA Department of Transport can tow crashed vehicles, and the charges are capped. Quik Tow & Transport is authorised crash towing business #810. These are the most anyone can charge to tow a crashed car in Perth and Peel (from 1 July 2026):
| Crashed car or light vehicle | Maximum |
|---|---|
| Crash tow (first 50 km) | $523 |
| Each extra km after 50 km | $4.75 |
| After-hours surcharge | $149 |
| Storage, per day | $27 |
| Admin fee (one-off) | $95 |
| Motorcycle storage, per day | $13.50 |
| Motorcycle admin fee (one-off) | $95 |
What the tow charge covers: preparing, loading, transporting and unloading the crashed vehicle, clearing crash debris, and the photos, phone calls and paperwork, for the first 50 km.
What's not capped: extra recovery work where the car is hard to reach or load, such as winching it out of a ditch, is charged at a reasonable rate. We'll tell you before we start.
Authority to Tow: before we move a crashed car, you sign an Authority to Tow form that lists the towing and storage costs and where the car is going. You keep a copy.
Insured? For covered claims we bill your insurer directly, so you usually pay nothing on the day.
