Atwell has grown from dairy land into a busy family suburb, and a lot of our work here follows the commute. The Kwinana Freeway runs down the whole western side, and peak-hour stop-start traffic between Armadale Road and Gibbs Road leads to overheating, fuel pump failures and the odd rear-end crash. The other big source of calls is Armadale Road on the northern boundary. It carries heavy freight towards the freeway and Cockburn Central, and breakdowns on it need a quick, safe recovery. How Atwell connects to the rest of Cockburn
Armadale Road forms the top edge, with Jandakot to the north and Cockburn Central across the freeway interchange. Tapper Road runs down the eastern side of the suburb, next to the semi-rural blocks of Banjup, and Gibbs Road marks the southern edge where Aubin Grove begins. Across the freeway to the west is Success, with the Cockburn Gateway shops a short drive away.
The Aubin Grove train station sits on the freeway near Gibbs Road, so its car park is part of our regular round too.
