What we’re called out for in Glendalough
The Mitchell Freeway splits the area, and with Glendalough station and the Scarborough Beach Road interchange right here, there’s always plenty of traffic. Peak hour breakdowns on the freeway are our most common job. Overheating, flat tyres and cars that lose power in the stop-start crawl into the city all end up on our trucks.
Scarborough Beach Road is the second hotspot. The traffic lights near the freeway ramps see their share of rear-end crashes, which we tow as accident towing jobs and bill to your insurer where possible.
The residential streets west of the freeway are quieter. Our work there is usually a car that won’t start at home or one that needs to go to a mechanic in nearby Osborne Park.
Roads and places around Glendalough
The suburb sits on the western side of the Mitchell Freeway, between the freeway and Herdsman Lake. Scarborough Beach Road crosses it east to west, Harborne Street runs north towards Osborne Park, and Jon Sanders Drive and Powis Street form the southern edge next to Wembley. A short drive south-east, on the other side of the freeway, is Leederville.
Osborne Park’s workshops and car yards are close by, so many of our tows here are short runs. For cars bought or sold privately, our vehicle transport service can move them across Perth.
