What we tow in Leederville
Leederville’s town centre runs along Oxford Street, with cafes, bars, the Luna cinema and plenty of evening traffic. Late night callouts are common. Some are cars that won’t start after a long dinner, others are people who’ve decided not to drive and want the car taken home. Parking is tight, with timed bays and laneways, so we’re careful about where we stop the truck.
The Mitchell Freeway runs along the western edge of the suburb, and it’s one of the busiest roads in Perth. Breakdowns and crashes on the stretch past Leederville station are frequent, especially during peak hour, and they need a quick, safe recovery. We bill insurers directly for accident towing jobs.
Students at the North Metropolitan TAFE campus also call us when an older car finally gives up in a campus car park.
Leederville’s roads and neighbours
Oxford Street is the main strip, crossed by Vincent Street and Newcastle Street. Loftus Street forms the eastern boundary, carrying traffic north and south past Leederville Oval. The freeway on the western side separates Leederville from West Leederville and Wembley.
The city is close by through West Perth and Northbridge, so many of our Leederville jobs are short trips to inner-city workshops and dealers. Our breakdown towing service covers everything from freeway stops to laneway recoveries.
Broken down in Leederville? Try this
- On the freeway, move left, hazards on, and get behind the barrier.
- On Oxford Street, try to stop in a bay or loading zone rather than the traffic lane.
- In a laneway, tell us the nearest street and any obstacles like bins or bollards.
- If you’re not fit to drive, don’t move the car. We’ll tow it home.
