How Wembley breakdowns usually happen
Wembley is mostly family homes, but it’s crossed by some of the busiest roads in the inner west. Cambridge Street, Grantham Street, Selby Street and Harborne Street all carry heavy traffic at peak times, and rear-end crashes at their lights are a regular source of work. Those are accident towing jobs, and we can bill your insurer directly.
The other half of our Wembley work is quieter. A car that won’t start in the driveway, a family wagon with a dead battery at the shops, or a car that needs transport to a mechanic for a job that can’t be fixed at the roadside.
Getting around Wembley
Cambridge Street runs east to west through the shopping strip, linking West Leederville with Floreat. Grantham Street runs parallel to the north, and Salvado Road follows the southern edge towards Jolimont and Subiaco. Selby Street and Harborne Street carry north-south traffic, and Herdsman Parade curves around the southern shore of Herdsman Lake. Lake Monger sits on the eastern side near the freeway.
The housing is a mix of older homes on wide blocks and newer townhouses with tight driveways. If the car is in a narrow garage or a rear unit, describe the access so we bring the right truck.
When your car stops in Wembley
- On a busy road, pull into a side street if you can roll there safely.
- At the shops, give us the shop name and which side of Cambridge Street you’re on.
- At home, tell us if the car is in a garage, under a carport or on the verge.
- Mention if the car is lowered or has a body kit, so we load it carefully.
