What gets us out to Jolimont
A good share of Jolimont is parks and sporting facilities rather than houses. The Matthews Netball Centre and the Pat Goodridge Hockey Centre host games most weekends, and their car parks see the usual mix of dead batteries, keys locked in cars and engines that won’t turn over at the end of the day. Parents juggling kids and kit often just want the car taken to a mechanic so they can get home.
Selby Street and Salvado Road both carry traffic between the coast, Subiaco and the city. The intersection where they meet is busy at peak times, and fender benders there are handled through our accident towing service with your insurer billed directly.
The residential pocket of Jolimont is compact, so most home callouts are a car that won’t start in the driveway or one that needs a lift to a Subiaco workshop.
Roads around Jolimont
Selby Street forms the western boundary with Floreat, and Salvado Road runs along the northern edge beside Wembley. Hay Street leads east into Subiaco, while Jersey Street is part of the southern boundary towards Shenton Park and Daglish.
Because the suburb is so close to the city, many of our jobs here are short trips to a workshop or a dealer. If you need a car moved without a breakdown, our vehicle transport service handles that too.
Stuck in Jolimont? Do this first
- At a sports venue, name the centre and the car park you’re in.
- On Selby Street or Salvado Road, pull into a side street rather than stopping at the lights.
- If the car is parked behind a gate or under a low carport, mention it so the driver plans the recovery.
- Let us know where the car needs to end up before we arrive.
