Karawara towing: the usual callouts
Karawara is a small suburb, once part of the Collier pine plantation, that sits just west of Curtin University. A lot of residents are students, and students tend to drive older cars. That means flat batteries, worn-out clutches, failed water pumps and cars that have sat unused over the break and won’t start. These are standard breakdown towing jobs, and we can drop the car at a mechanic you choose.
Manning Road and Kent Street carry heavy traffic between the Kwinana Freeway, the university and Cannington. Rear-end crashes at the lights are common in peak hour and during semester. We handle these as accident towing and can usually bill your insurer directly.
Unit blocks and townhouses mean shared driveways and tight car parks, which we plan around.
Roads and nearby suburbs
Manning Road runs along the southern edge, linking west to the Kwinana Freeway and east to Bentley and Cannington. Kent Street forms the eastern boundary, with the Curtin campus on the other side. Walanna Drive and Jackson Road carry local traffic through the middle of the suburb. To the south is Waterford, and the Collier Park Golf Course sits to the north. Salter Point is a short drive to the south-west.
Broken down in Karawara? Here’s what helps
- In a unit complex, tell us the unit number and the car bay location.
- On Manning Road or Kent Street, use a side street or bus bay if you can.
- If your car is in an underground car park, check the clearance sign.
- Let us know where the car is going before we arrive.
