What brings us to Kelmscott
Kelmscott is a large, varied suburb. On the flat western side, Albany Highway is lined with shops, the Stargate Kelmscott and Kelmscott Village shopping areas, the train station and a light industrial area. That’s where most of our car park and commuter callouts happen, with flat batteries, overheating engines and the odd fender-bender.
East of the river, the land rises into the Darling Scarp, with steep streets and driveways that can be tricky for older cars and heavy vehicles. A car that can’t get back up a driveway, or one that’s slid off a wet verge, may need a winch rather than a simple tow.
Albany Highway carries a lot of through traffic and sees regular accident towing callouts, especially at busy intersections.
