What we’re called out for in Langford
Langford was built as a State Housing Commission suburb in the late 1960s, and much of it has since been renovated and sold privately. It’s a working suburb, and that means plenty of older, well-used cars. Our most common Langford jobs are cars that won’t start, failed alternators and timing belts, and cars that need to go to a mechanic because they’re no longer safe to drive. These are mostly breakdown towing jobs.
The main roads around Langford are busy. Nicholson Road carries buses, commuters and freight. Roe Highway runs along the southern edge, and Spencer Road connects through to Thornlie and Gosnells. Rear-end crashes at the intersections and on-ramps are a regular call.
Roads and nearby suburbs
Nicholson Road runs along the western boundary, separating Langford from Ferndale and Lynwood, and linking north to Cannington and south to Canning Vale. Roe Highway runs along the south, with Thornlie on the other side. Spencer Road leaves Nicholson Road on the western edge and heads east towards Thornlie and Gosnells. Langford Avenue and Brookman Avenue carry local traffic through the suburb.
