Dumped cars on private property
An abandoned car in a strata car park, a shopping centre lot or the back of a rental property is a headache. It takes up a bay, attracts rubbish and can become a safety issue. Many property owners and managers want it gone quickly, but it needs to be done the right way.
We remove abandoned vehicles from private property across Perth once the property owner or manager has the authority to have them moved. We bring a tilt tray and load the car carefully, even if it has been sitting for months.
Who we help
- Strata managers and owners corporations. Cars left in common property bays, visitor parking or basements.
- Property managers and landlords. Vehicles left behind by former tenants or dumped on vacant blocks.
- Businesses. Cars abandoned in staff or customer car parks, loading docks and industrial yards.
- Shopping centres and commercial sites. Long term vehicles left in car parks.
Follow the proper process first
Before any abandoned car is towed, the person arranging it needs to have the authority to do so and follow the proper process. In general that means:
- Try to find and contact the owner. Leave a note on the vehicle and check whether a tenant, resident or staff member knows who owns it.
- Give notice. Put a dated notice on the vehicle and keep a record, including photos.
- Check your authority. Make sure you have the right to act for the property, such as strata or owner approval, and check any by-laws or lease terms.
- Get advice if you are unsure. The rules can depend on the situation, so get advice before going ahead.
Keep copies of everything. This protects you if the owner turns up later.
Cars on public roads are different. If a car is dumped on a street or verge, it is a matter for your local council. Contact them and they will deal with it under their own process. We only remove vehicles from private property.
How the removal works
Once you have authority, call or text us with the details. The driver will check the paperwork you provide, photograph the car before loading and load it on a tilt tray. Abandoned cars often have flat tyres, seized brakes, flat batteries or no keys, so we come prepared to winch them on.
Basements and tight strata car parks need planning. Tell us about low clearance, ramps, boom gates and access codes so we send a suitable truck.
What to tell us when you book
- the property address and exact location of the car
- make, model, colour and rego if it has plates
- the condition: flat tyres, damage, keys or not
- access details like height limits, gates and codes
- who has authorised the removal and how to contact them
- where the car should go
Pricing
Abandoned car removals are quoted on distance, vehicle type, condition, access at the pickup and timing. A car in a tight basement with seized wheels takes more work than one on an open lot. You get a fixed upfront quote, no hidden fees and our best rates guarantee. Call or text with the details.
