What we tow most often in Bicton
Bicton is mostly quiet residential streets, but its edges are anything but quiet. Canning Highway runs along the southern side with a long strip of shops, and Stock Road and Petra Street carry steady traffic on the east and west. Shunts at the Canning Highway lights and cars stalling in the right-turn lanes are among our most common jobs, often handled as accident towing with insurer billing.
Inside the suburb, the hills are the story. Castle Hill and the streets around it are steep, and older cars with tired clutches or cooling systems struggle on the climb. Down at the river, Point Walter and the Bicton Baths draw big crowds in summer, and we regularly get called to flat batteries and lost keys in the foreshore car parks.
Roads we use around Bicton
Canning Highway forms the southern boundary, with Palmyra on the other side, and leads east towards Alfred Cove and the city. Petra Street on the west separates Bicton from East Fremantle, while Stock Road on the east heads south towards Leach Highway. Preston Point Road runs through the middle of the suburb, and Point Walter Road leads down to the reserve and the river.
