Why people call us in Claremont
Claremont is the shopping and dining centre of the western suburbs, so plenty of our work is in car parks. Claremont Quarter’s parking levels, the Bay View Terrace streets and the station car parks all see flat batteries, failed starters and keys locked inside. Low ceilings in covered car parks mean we often have to get a car up to street level before it goes on a truck.
Stirling Highway is the other half of the story. It funnels traffic between the city and Fremantle, with buses and frequent stops, and we tow cars from nose-to-tail crashes along the Claremont section most weeks. Those are accident towing jobs we can usually bill straight to your insurer.
Then there are the big events. The Claremont Showground hosts the Perth Royal Show and large festivals, and cars that won’t start at the end of a long day are common.
Claremont’s roads and surrounds
Stirling Highway crosses the suburb, with Stirling Road and Gugeri Street running either side of the railway. Bay View Terrace and the streets around Claremont Quarter form the shopping core. North of the line, Davies Road and Alfred Road head towards Lake Claremont and Mount Claremont, while the leafy streets south of the highway run down to the river and its jetties.
Cottesloe and Swanbourne sit to the west, Nedlands to the east and Dalkeith along the river to the south-east. We also handle plenty of breakdown towing from the quiet residential streets around the private schools.
Stuck in Claremont? A few quick tips
- In an underground car park, note the level, bay and any height limit sign before you call.
- On Stirling Highway, a side street is far safer than the kerb lane.
- If you’re at the Showground, name the gate and car park so we can find you in the crowd.
- Prestige or lowered car? Tell us the make and model so we bring soft straps.
