What Dalkeith callouts usually look like
Dalkeith is almost entirely residential and wrapped by the Swan River on three sides, so there’s no freeway traffic here and no big shopping centre. Our jobs are mostly at people’s homes: a car that won’t start in the garage, a luxury SUV with an electrical fault, or a classic car that needs moving to a specialist. Many of these are prestige or performance vehicles, and they need to be loaded slowly and strapped properly.
Riverside streets and blocks with steep driveways can make access awkward. We plan the approach before the truck arrives, and if a car is buried deep in a garage we’ll talk through how to get it out without damage.
The Waratah Avenue shopping strip and the river parks bring the occasional flat battery and lockout too.
Streets and places around Dalkeith
Waratah Avenue and Victoria Avenue are the main routes in, with Adelma Road and Alexander Road crossing between them. Jutland Parade follows the river on the southern side past Point Resolution Reserve. Getting out of Dalkeith means heading north through Nedlands to reach Stirling Highway, or west into Claremont.
Crawley and UWA are only a short drive away along the river. For cars that don’t have a fault but simply need to be moved, such as a classic heading to a show or a car going to a new owner, our vehicle transport service handles it.
If your car won’t move in Dalkeith
- If it’s in a garage, tell us roughly how much room there is around it and whether the car will roll in neutral.
- For steep or curved driveways, describe the slope so we bring the right gear.
- On Waratah Avenue, put your hazards on and stay on the footpath side.
- If it’s a high-value or modified car, mention ground clearance and any aftermarket parts.
