Where we’re called in Nedlands
The Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre in the northern part of Nedlands is one of the biggest hospital precincts in Perth, with Sir Charles Gairdner and Perth Children’s Hospital side by side and Hollywood Private Hospital nearby. Staff, patients and visitors park for long hours, and cars that won’t start after a shift are a steady part of our work.
Students from the University of Western Australia rent near Hampden Road and Broadway, and their older cars tend to overheat, lose batteries or simply stop. Then there’s Stirling Highway, carrying traffic between the city and Fremantle past shops, schools and the Peace Memorial Rose Garden. Rear-end crashes at the lights are common, and they’re accident towing jobs we can manage with your insurer.
Nedlands roads and the suburbs next door
Stirling Highway cuts across the suburb from Crawley towards Claremont. Broadway and Hampden Road are the main local streets near the university. Aberdare Road runs along the northern side past the hospitals into Shenton Park, and Princess Road carries local traffic through the middle of the suburb. South of the highway, the streets wind down towards the river foreshore and on into Dalkeith.
Prestige cars are common on the quieter southern streets, so we load them on a tilt tray using soft straps and protect low front ends.
Stuck in Nedlands right now?
- In a hospital car park, find the nearest lift or pay station number and give it to us.
- On Stirling Highway, pull into a side street if you can, rather than stopping in a lane.
- Near the river, tell us which reserve or car park you’re in.
- If it’s a student car with no rego paperwork handy, that’s fine. Just give us the plate number.
