Why East Cannington drivers call us
Most of East Cannington was farmland and horse paddocks until the 1990s, and the housing here is relatively modern for a suburb this close to the city. The jobs we get reflect that. Cars that won’t start in the driveway, tyre blowouts on the way to work, and second cars that need to go to a mechanic or a buyer’s home. Those are mostly breakdown towing and short transport jobs.
The roads on the edges are busier. Welshpool Road carries industrial and through traffic along the northern boundary, and the Roe Highway interchange is not far away. Trucks, vans and utes from the Welshpool industrial area share these roads with local traffic, and crashes and breakdowns at the intersections are a regular call.

To the west, the railway line and Cannington station mark the edge with Cannington, with Westfield Carousel a short walk away. Lacey Street runs along the south-east boundary with Beckenham, while Gibbs Street and Thomas Street form the north-western side towards Queens Park. Roe Highway is just to the east, beyond which lie Kenwick and Wattle Grove.
