Towing and transport in Welshpool
Most of Welshpool is industrial. Workshops, panel beaters, warehouses and transport depots fill the streets either side of Welshpool Road and Kewdale Road, and that shapes our work here. Container transport between yards, building sites and businesses is a regular job, along with moving vehicles between workshops and dealers.
Fleet vehicles are the other big one. A ute or van that won’t start in a yard at 6am, or one that dies mid-shift on a delivery run, needs moving quickly so the business can keep running. On the main roads, Leach Highway and Roe Highway carry heavy freight, and breakdowns or crashes there call for a prompt and careful accident towing response.
Welshpool’s main roads
Welshpool Road runs from the Albany Highway corner at St James through the heart of the suburb, crossing Leach Highway before reaching Kewdale Road. Leach Highway cuts through on its way between Kewdale and Bentley, with Orrong Road meeting it on the Kewdale side. Roe Highway forms the eastern edge, and Welshpool Road East continues beyond it towards Wattle Grove and the hills. To the south are Queens Park and East Cannington, and the residential streets of St James lie to the south-west.
The tall silo complexes are a useful reference point when you’re explaining where you are.
