Towing in Kallaroo: the usual jobs
Kallaroo is one of the original Whitfords suburbs, and much of the housing dates from the 1970s and 1980s. Some of those older homes have narrow carports, so a fair number of our jobs here involve carefully winching a car out from a tight spot before it goes onto the tilt tray.
The beachfront brings its own calls. People park along the coast to walk the shared path or swim, then come back to a car that won’t start. And with Whitford City just over Whitfords Avenue in Hillarys, we’re often collecting Kallaroo residents’ cars from that shopping centre’s car parks too. On Marmion Avenue, the busy run between Whitfords Avenue and the suburbs to the north gives us regular accident towing work.
Roads and places we cover around Kallaroo
Whitfords Avenue runs along the south, separating Kallaroo from Hillarys. Marmion Avenue forms the eastern edge, with Craigie and Padbury on the other side. To the north is Mullaloo and its long stretch of beach.
Inside the suburb, Dampier Avenue, Northshore Drive and Bridgewater Drive are the main local roads, each with a bus route running between Whitfords and Joondalup stations. The coastal shared path follows the beach from Whitfords Avenue towards Mullaloo Drive, and we’ll meet you at whichever car park you’re closest to.
If you’re stuck in Kallaroo right now
- On the coast, tell us which car park you’re in and which beach path it’s near.
- If the car is in a narrow carport or a steep driveway, warn us so we bring the right gear.
- On Marmion Avenue, pull onto a side street if the car will move.
- Tell us where the car needs to go, whether that’s your mechanic or home.
