Typical towing jobs in Hillarys
Hillarys has two very busy destinations within a few kilometres of each other, and most of our work here starts at one of them. Hillarys Boat Harbour pulls in boaties, families heading to AQWA, and people eating out at the harbour. We’re called out for cars that won’t start after a long day parked in the sun, tow vehicles that struggle on the ramp, and flat batteries from leaving the lights on.
Westfield Whitford City, at the corner of Marmion and Whitfords Avenues, gives us the other big source of jobs. Car park breakdowns there tend to be electrical or starter related. Traffic on Marmion Avenue and Hepburn Avenue also causes rear-end crashes, particularly on weekends when everyone heads for the coast at once.
Roads and places we cover around Hillarys
Hepburn Avenue forms the southern boundary and ends near the harbour entrance, where West Coast Drive continues south into Sorrento. Whitfords Avenue curves around the north and doubles as the coastal road on the western side. Marmion Avenue runs along the eastern edge, with Padbury on the far side and Kallaroo to the north.
We also move cars to and from the residential streets between the shopping centre and the beach, and use vehicle transport for anyone needing a car moved without driving it, such as an unregistered project car.
If you’re stuck in Hillarys right now
- At the harbour, tell us whether you’re on the ramp, in the trailer parking or near the shops.
- At the shopping centre, note the nearest entry door or big store.
- On Hepburn Avenue or Whitfords Avenue, use a side street or a bus bay if you can roll into one safely.
- If a boat is involved, let us know its approximate size.
