Towing in Duncraig: common jobs
Duncraig was mostly built in the 1970s and is almost entirely residential, so a lot of our callouts are cars that won’t start in the driveway, cars that need to go to a mechanic and vehicles being moved after a sale. With plenty of families and teenage drivers, older second cars are a familiar sight on our tilt trays.
The bigger jobs come off the boundaries. The Mitchell Freeway runs along the eastern side, with exits at Hepburn Avenue and Warwick Road. Beach Road and Marmion Avenue carry steady traffic, and Warwick Road cuts straight through the middle of the suburb. Crashes at the signalised intersections on these roads are regular accident towing jobs, and we can keep the insurer side simple for you.
Roads and places around Duncraig
Hepburn Avenue separates Duncraig from Padbury to the north, and Marmion Avenue runs down the west with Sorrento and Marmion on the other side. Beach Road forms the southern boundary, where Carine Glades shopping centre sits across from Carine. Inside the suburb, Davallia Road and Glengarry Drive carry most local traffic. The Glengarry shops, with the private hospital behind them on Arnisdale Road, make a handy landmark.
If your car has stopped in Duncraig
- On Warwick Road, which is a busy divided road, try to make it into a side street before stopping.
- Near the freeway, tell us the nearest exit and direction, and wait behind the barrier if you can.
- At Percy Doyle Reserve, give the car park and the nearest building.
- Let us know if the car is in a garage or a steep driveway so we bring the right gear.
