Mount Lawley tows we do most often
Beaufort Street is the centre of things here, with its cafes, bars, the Astor and plenty of kerbside parking. After a night out, we get calls from people who’ve decided not to drive and want the car taken home, and from others whose car simply won’t start. Weekend parking is tight, so we’re used to loading from a narrow kerb with traffic flowing past.
The ECU campus and its performing arts academy bring a lot of students, and older student cars break down at awkward times. Then there are the busy roads. Walcott Street, Guildford Road and Lord Street carry heavy traffic towards the city, and rear-end crashes at the lights become accident towing jobs that we can bill straight to your insurer.
How we get around Mount Lawley
Beaufort Street runs north to south through the suburb, from Vincent Street up past Walcott Street towards Inglewood. Walcott Street cuts across on a diagonal, and Alexander Drive runs along part of the northern edge, heading off towards the northern suburbs. On the eastern side, Lord Street and Guildford Road carry traffic between East Perth and Maylands.
Head north on Beaufort and you’re quickly in Inglewood. Go south and the street leads down to the CBD fringe. We also know the quieter grid of residential streets in between, where verges, street trees and permit parking all make the pickup a bit more fiddly.
