What we usually handle in North Coogee
North Coogee has been transformed from old industrial land into a coastal suburb of apartments, townhouses and the Port Coogee marina. That shapes our callouts. Basement and podium car parks are common, and getting a car out of a tight underground space takes the right truck and some care. We do a fair few of those jobs as planned vehicle transport when someone’s moving or selling a car that doesn’t run.
The beach and marina bring their own share. On a warm weekend, the car parks near C.Y. O’Connor Beach and Port Coogee fill up, and cars left with doors open or accessories running come back with a flat battery. Boat owners towing heavy trailers sometimes overheat their cars or burn out a clutch.
Cockburn Road along the eastern edge carries steady traffic between Fremantle and the industrial areas to the south. Crashes there are usually rear-end or turning collisions, which we tow and can bill to your insurer.
Roads and spots around North Coogee
Cockburn Road forms the eastern boundary, with Hamilton Hill and Spearwood on the other side. Orsino Boulevard and Pantheon Avenue are the main streets into the Port Coogee area. To the north, the suburb runs into South Fremantle, and to the south Powell Road marks the edge with Coogee. The old Robb Jetty site and the C.Y. O’Connor statue in the water are handy landmarks if you’re near the northern beaches.
If you’re stuck in North Coogee right now
- In a basement, note the building name, level and bay number, and check the height signs.
- At the beach, tell us which car park and the nearest beach path or landmark.
- If you’re towing a boat, let us know whether the trailer needs moving too.
- On Cockburn Road, pull into a side street or car park if the car can still roll.
