Spearwood towing: what usually happens
Spearwood started out as market gardens and is now a large, established suburb with a strong Croatian heritage, plenty of sports clubs and a busy commercial strip along Rockingham Road. Phoenix Shopping Centre sits at the heart of it, and its car parks are one of our most frequent pickup points in the area. Flat batteries, failed starter motors and cars locked with the keys inside all come up.
The arterial roads are the other half of the story. Rockingham Road links Spearwood with Fremantle to the north and the Kwinana industrial strip to the south, and Stock Road runs along the eastern boundary as part of National Route 1. Crashes at the lights on either road are common callouts, and we handle them as accident towing with your insurer billed directly where possible.
On weekends, soccer and other club games at Beale Park and Dalmatinac Park mean full car parks and the odd car that won’t start after the final whistle.
Roads and places we cover around Spearwood
Phoenix Road marks the northern boundary with Hamilton Hill, and Stock Road forms the eastern edge next to Bibra Lake. Hamilton Road runs along the western side towards Coogee, while Barrington Street and Troode Street close off the south.
Rockingham Road and Spearwood Avenue both run through the suburb, with Phoenix Shopping Centre, the council offices on Coleville Crescent and Stargate Spearwood all close to Rockingham Road. Manning Park, around Manning Lake, is another handy reference point if you’re unsure of the street.
