Drivers heading to Terminals 3 and 4 come through on Great Eastern Highway, Tonkin Highway and the local streets, and a car that gives up on the way creates a real time squeeze. The two highways bring the rest. Tonkin Highway runs along the western side and Great Eastern Highway along the north, both carrying heavy freight and fast traffic. Roads in and around Redcliffe
Great Eastern Highway forms the northern edge, with Ascot and its racecourse on the other side. Tonkin Highway marks the western boundary, and Epsom Avenue links across to Belmont. Through the middle, Fauntleroy Avenue and Dunreath Drive link the highway to the airport area, while Stanton Road serves the streets around the station.
To the south is Cloverdale, and further south-east the industrial area of Kewdale. Redcliffe’s mix of older homes, newer apartments and semi-industrial lots means some pickups are quick kerbside jobs and others need a bit of planning around gates and tight yards.

- On Tonkin Highway, get behind the barrier if you can and stay well clear of the traffic.
