Common jobs in South Guildford
South Guildford is a small suburb with a lot of traffic. Great Eastern Highway runs along its western side, and the Great Eastern Highway Bypass starts here and skirts the northern edge of the airport. Both carry heavy freight between Perth and the eastern states, and in among that traffic we’re regularly called to utes, vans and cars that have broken down or been nudged at the lights. For a crash, we offer accident towing and can bill your insurer directly.
The light industrial area along Kalamunda Road brings a different kind of job. Work vehicles that won’t start, plant trailers and fleet cars that need to go to a workshop are all regular calls, and we can transport them to wherever they need to go. The residential pocket closer to the river gets the usual suburban callouts.
How South Guildford connects
Great Eastern Highway runs north over the Helena River into Guildford and south-west towards Ascot and Redcliffe. The Bypass heads east to Kalamunda Road and on towards Roe Highway, giving a quicker route to Midland and the hills. Kalamunda Road itself starts on the old highway and runs south-east past the cemetery and the airport towards High Wycombe.
Waterhall Road and the surrounding streets serve the homes in the middle of the suburb. Bassendean is just to the west.
