What we tow in Wellard
Wellard’s population has jumped from a few thousand to well over ten thousand in a decade, and our work here reflects that. New estates mean young families, two-car households and plenty of commuters, so the most common calls are cars that won’t start in the driveway or the station car park. Construction traffic and building sites also lead to the odd tyre and suspension problem.
The Kwinana Freeway carries a lot of traffic through the suburb, and Wellard Road and Johnson Road feed onto it. Rear-end crashes on the freeway and at busy intersections nearby become accident towing jobs, and we can usually bill your insurer directly.
Schools such as Peter Carnley Anglican Community School and Wellard Primary also produce busy drop-off times when a stalled car quickly causes a queue.
Roads and places we cover around Wellard
Wellard Road, Bertram Road and Mortimer Road mark the northern edge of the suburb, close to Kwinana Town Centre. On the southern side, Baldivis Road and Millar Road separate Wellard from Baldivis. Johnson Road connects the residential estates with the freeway.
Heading west, Rockingham is a short drive away, and the freeway takes you north towards Wandi and the Cockburn suburbs.
