Callouts we handle in Woodvale
Woodvale is a settled family suburb, so much of our work here is everyday breakdown towing. Flat batteries on school mornings, cars that overheat in summer and the occasional car that slides off the kerb into a lakeside verge all keep us busy. We also move cars that have sat unused on driveways for months.
The suburb’s edges are where things get urgent. The Mitchell Freeway runs along the western boundary, with interchanges at Whitfords Avenue and Ocean Reef Road that funnel commuters in and out every morning and evening. On the eastern side, Wanneroo Road carries trucks and tradies to and from the Wangara industrial area. Crashes on the ramps and at the arterial intersections are regular jobs, and we can bill your insurer directly.
Woodvale’s roads and nearby suburbs
Whitfords Avenue forms the southern boundary, with Kingsley on the other side. Ocean Reef Road runs along the north next to Edgewater. The freeway separates Woodvale from Padbury and Craigie to the west, while Wanneroo Road marks the eastern edge facing Wangara and Pearsall. Trappers Drive runs north to south through the middle of the suburb, linking Whitfords Avenue with Ocean Reef Road.
Lake Goollelal and the Yellagonga Regional Park sit between the residential streets and Wanneroo Road, so access to some eastern streets is only from inside the suburb.
When your car stops in Woodvale
- On a freeway ramp, pull right over and stay behind any barrier with your hazard lights on.
- Near the lake, give us the closest street and park name, as GPS can be vague around the wetlands.
- On Trappers Drive, try to stop in a side street or bus bay rather than the traffic lane.
- If your car has been in a crash, take photos and swap details first.
