When Kingsley drivers call us
Kingsley is bordered by heavy traffic on every side. The Mitchell Freeway runs along the west, Wanneroo Road along the east, and Whitfords Avenue and Hepburn Avenue across the top and bottom. A lot of our jobs here are on those four roads: rear-end crashes on the freeway in peak hour, breakdowns at the Wanneroo Road lights, and cars that conk out in the queue on Whitfords Avenue.
The other big group is station car parks. Whitfords and Greenwood stations are both at Kingsley’s western corners, and a commuter car that’s been sitting in the sun all day is a prime candidate for a flat battery or a starter motor failure. We’ll jump-start it if that’s all it needs, or tow it to a mechanic if it isn’t.
Roads and places we cover around Kingsley
The suburb is split by Lake Goollelal, which runs parallel to Wanneroo Road. Most homes are on the freeway side of the lake, with a smaller enclave squeezed between the water and Wanneroo Road. The Mitchell Freeway and Wanneroo Road both have their own pages if you want tips on where to pull over.
Over Whitfords Avenue to the north is Woodvale, with Greenwood to the south beyond Hepburn Avenue. Head east over Wanneroo Road and you reach Madeley and Kingsway City, where we also do plenty of car park pickups.
Stuck in Kingsley right now?
- If you’re on the freeway, give us the direction and whether you’re closer to Whitfords Avenue or Hepburn Avenue.
- On Wanneroo Road, pull into a side street or a servo forecourt if the car will still roll.
- Near the lake, mention whether you’re on the east or west side so the driver takes the right route.
- Keep the keys handy and tell us where the car should end up.
