Common callouts in Lathlain
Most Lathlain jobs start on a residential street. Cars parked on the verge for days end up with flat batteries, and older sedans parked under big street trees cop the odd fallen branch. These are simple breakdown tows, but the tight streets mean we plan the angle before the truck backs in.
Lathlain’s boundary roads are another matter. Great Eastern Highway along the north-west and Orrong Road along the north-east both carry heavy traffic heading to and from the airport, and rear-end crashes at the lights are common. The Graham Farmer Freeway ramps sit right at the corner of the suburb too. For any crash we handle the accident towing side and can bill your insurer directly.
Getting around Lathlain
Lathlain is a small, hilly suburb. The Great Eastern Highway runs past its north-western edge towards Burswood, while Orrong Road divides it from Rivervale and leads south-east towards Kewdale. Roberts Road marks the south-eastern side, and Rutland Avenue runs beside the railway line on the way to Victoria Park, where the nearest train station sits.
Lathlain Park, home of the West Coast Eagles training base and the Perth Football Club, is the suburb’s biggest landmark. On busy days the surrounding streets fill quickly, which affects where a truck can stop.
