Built for working vehicles
When your ute or van stops, so does your day. Tradies, couriers and delivery drivers often break down mid run with a vehicle full of tools, stock or parcels. We send the nearest tilt tray with a realistic ETA so you can plan the rest of your day, and we work around the clock, including weekends and public holidays.
Every ute and van goes on a tilt tray, so it rides fully on the tray with no wear on the tyres or gearbox and no kilometres added. That matters for diesel vans and utes with automatic or 4WD drivelines, which shouldn’t be dragged.
Loaded vehicles
A loaded van or ute is a lot heavier than the number on the rego papers. When you call, let us know:
- Make and model (Hilux, Ranger, HiAce, Transit, Sprinter and so on)
- What’s on board and a rough weight
- Tray back, canopy, ladder rack or service body
- Overall height, including roof racks or ladders
- Whether it runs, rolls and steers
With that information we send a truck that can carry the vehicle and its load safely. If anything on the roof or tray is loose, tie it down before we arrive.
Keeping your tools and stock secure
The vehicle stays locked while it’s on our truck, and you choose who gets the keys at the other end. Before we load, lock toolboxes, canopy doors and the rear barn doors. If you’re carrying high value tools or customer parcels, take what you need for the rest of the day, and let your dispatch or boss know where the vehicle is going.
Getting you back to work fast
Most of the time, the quickest fix is getting the vehicle to a mechanic as early as possible. Tell us your workshop and we’ll take it straight there. If you’ve broken down near a job site, we can also drop the vehicle at your yard or home. If you have a fleet, let us know your business name so we can note your regular workshop for next time.
After an accident
If your work vehicle has been in a crash, we can take it to your repairer or the insurer’s approved repairer. For covered claims we bill your insurer directly, so there’s usually nothing to pay on the day. See insurance towing and accident towing for more.
Pricing
The cost depends on the distance, the size and weight of the vehicle and its load, whether it runs, access at both ends and the time of day or urgency. Call or text 0419 857 070 with the van’s size and what’s loaded in the back, and we’ll price the tow upfront so there are no surprises for your business.
