A real person on the phone, any hour
Breaking down after dark feels different. Fewer people around, less light, and often a flat phone battery to worry about. When you ring 0419 857 070 at night, a real person picks up, takes your location and tells you which truck is coming.
We have 10+ tow trucks on the road across Perth, so we send the nearest one rather than whoever is free across town. You get a realistic ETA, not a guess designed to keep you on the line.
Staying safe while you wait
Your safety comes before the car. If you can, get the vehicle off the road or as far left as possible, switch on your hazard lights and leave your parking lights on.
- If you are on a busy road or freeway, get out on the side away from traffic and wait behind a barrier if there is one.
- If you are in a quiet street or car park and feel unsafe, lock the doors and wait inside until you see our truck.
- Keep your phone charged. Turn down the screen brightness and close apps you are not using.
- Do not accept help from anyone claiming to be your tow truck. Our driver will know your name and job details. Ask them before you hand over keys.
If you are injured or in danger, call 000 first. Then call us.
What to tell us when you ring
The more we know up front, the quicker we can get the right truck to you:
- Your exact location. A street address, nearest cross street, freeway exit or a GPS pin sent by text all help.
- Make, model and whether it is a manual, auto, AWD or EV.
- What happened: will not start, overheated, flat tyre with no spare, accident damage.
- Where you want the car to go, and whether anyone will be there to receive it.
If you have had an accident and are claiming on insurance, tell us your insurer. We can bill your insurer directly for covered claims, so there is usually nothing to pay on the night.
How your car is loaded
We use tilt tray trucks. The tray tilts down, your car is winched or driven on, and it rides fully on the tray. No wheels on the road, no wear on the tyres, gearbox or driveline, and no kilometres added. That matters for AWDs, automatics and EVs, which can be damaged by being dragged.
For a standard breakdown tow, loading usually takes a few minutes once the truck is in position. For accident towing, the driver also secures loose panels and checks for leaking fluids before moving off.
Pricing
Night towing is priced on the same factors as any other job: distance, the type of vehicle, whether it runs, access at both ends and the time of day or urgency. We give upfront quotes with transparent pricing and no hidden fees, backed by our best rates guarantee. Call or text 0419 857 070 for a quote before we send the truck.
Where we work
We tow at night across every Perth suburb, from Two Rocks to Secret Harbour and Cottesloe to Mundaring. That includes the northern suburbs, southern suburbs, eastern suburbs including the hills, the western suburbs, the south-eastern suburbs and the Perth CBD. See all areas we cover.
Stuck tonight? Ring 0419 857 070 and you’ll talk to someone on our night crew, not a recording.
WA authorised crash towing business #810
Accident tow costs are regulated by law
Since the Towing Services Act 2024, only businesses authorised by the WA Department of Transport can tow crashed vehicles, and the charges are capped. Quik Tow & Transport is authorised crash towing business #810. These are the most anyone can charge to tow a crashed car in Perth and Peel (from 1 July 2026):
| Crashed car or light vehicle | Maximum |
|---|---|
| Crash tow (first 50 km) | $523 |
| Each extra km after 50 km | $4.75 |
| After-hours surcharge | $149 |
| Storage, per day | $27 |
| Admin fee (one-off) | $95 |
| Motorcycle storage, per day | $13.50 |
| Motorcycle admin fee (one-off) | $95 |
What the tow charge covers: preparing, loading, transporting and unloading the crashed vehicle, clearing crash debris, and the photos, phone calls and paperwork, for the first 50 km.
What's not capped: extra recovery work where the car is hard to reach or load, such as winching it out of a ditch, is charged at a reasonable rate. We'll tell you before we start.
Authority to Tow: before we move a crashed car, you sign an Authority to Tow form that lists the towing and storage costs and where the car is going. You keep a copy.
Insured? For covered claims we bill your insurer directly, so you usually pay nothing on the day.
